My name is Maggie Ingvalson Cronan (my friends call me moogs) and I am an artist from Chattanooga, Tennessee. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Art and a Minor of Biological Sciences from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2020.
My work consists of a wide variety of styles and mediums. I have enjoyed animal portraits in charcoal and pencil. Capturing the pet’s personality and beauty is my favorite part of the process.
I also enjoy making abstract oil paintings. Right now I am particularly interested in negative space and organic shapes. I use the shapes as inspiration and the basis of the paintings. As a young artist I don’t have a set niche of what kind of artwork I want to make but I am excited to broaden my range of styles and mediums in the future.
